Julien Rongier began his career at the Hôtel Le Bristol Paris, a world-renowned Palace Hotel, as a junior sales representative where customer experience and guest service were an obsession.
In 2009, he became project manager in the Programs and Operations department of the Stade de France (the country's 80,000-seat national stadium), then he took the position of head of BtoB marketing and development until 2013. He then joined the Stade Pierre-Mauroy de Lille to launch this new 50,000-seat venue, with a retractable roof and removable pitch revealing a 28,000-seat arena, as Program, Marketing and Sales Manager. For 5 years, he built a strong content and business strategy alongside the CEO, hosting world-class events in Lille for the first time: Davis Cup finals, Eurobasket, UEFA Euro, rugby semi-finals, concerts and international festivals.
Since 2018, he has been the CRO of the Accor Arena, a legendary French venue (ranked in the Top 5 arenas in the world).
In 2023, he became CRO of Paris Entertainment Company (Accor Arena, adidas arena and Bataclan) and deputy director of the next adidas arena (the second largest venue in Paris intramural after the Accor Arena - opening in February 2024).
Paris Entertainment company is a new group (operating Accor Arena, adidas arena and the Bataclan) with an unprecedented model in France: a venue combined with a lively destination opened independently from the event in the Arena. Everything started from the evolution of the mythical Accor Arena (40 years old this season) that became a business model for the Paris Entertainment Company.
We are willing to reinvent French Entertainment with our three Parisian destinations. This transformation is all about the customer experience, how & why our industry need to amplify it. All this is being made possible through innovation, meeting the needs of the audience and enhancing shared collective emotions.
