Bjorn Poels is Chief Commercial Officer and co-owner of Bundeling, the central communication hub for organisations and market leader in business club communication platforms for professional sports clubs.
Bjorn joined Bundeling in 2017 after its previous concept, the city app platform CityInformation, was acquired by the American company DigitalTown. Thanks to the many collaborations and sponsorships with professional sports clubs during the CityInformation time, it became clear to us that there was an urgent need for a communication platform that would offer business and hospitality partners more value within their membership. In addition, the club would be helped enormously with an easily manageable dashboard in which basically all communication and information could be bundled.
Bundeling is now successfully used at more than 200 professional sports clubs, such as Borussia Dortmund, Royal Antwerp FC, PSV Eindhoven, PAOK and Bologna FC. By listening carefully to the needs of our customers, we continue to develop the platform and integrate more and more third-party solutions such as ticketing, hospitality, and CRM systems.
As a passionate sports enthusiast, it is a privilege to work for so many wonderful clients and contribute positively to the business side of the clubs and their partners. Bjorn is responsible for the commercial strategy of the Bundeling Group but also the listening ear to strategic partners regarding the platform's further development.
The objective for the coming years is to expand our position as a market leader further and to bundle even more essential functionalities into our customers' platforms.
