Liz Pattinson is Head of Capital Projects & Estate Development at Ascot Racecourse, a world class racing venue and home of the Royal racecourse founded in 1711 by Queen Anne. Aside from racing, Ascot is also a venue for conferences, banquets, exhibitions, product launches as well as a movie and TV filming location.
Liz joined Ascot Racecourse in January 2017 heading up a new department focused on strategic planning and development of its 264-acre estate. Liz manages a small team delivering master planning, financial planning and whole life capital development projects along with the day-to-day estate management of a varied portfolio. Her primary focus is to safeguard, develop and diversify Ascot’s portfolio to support its function as a premiership international racecourse venue. Stakeholder management both within the racecourse and in the wider community is a key aspect of her role, together with managing multi-disciplinary project delivery teams to successfully deliver capital investment projects of varying scale and complexity.
Prior to Ascot, Liz spent 17 years in commercial property consultancy, undertaking a range of building surveying, project management, access consultancy and master planning projects including the Thames Tideway Tunnel infrastructure project and several large urban development schemes.
