Evan was promoted to head of the premium ticketing division of Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment (VWSE) in February 2018 where he is responsible for acquiring and growing all ticketing relationships for the company. Currently, Gitomer focuses heavily on the firm’s partnership with the Texas Rangers – leading the effort to sell $70M in premium seating and suite revenue for the club’s new ballpark, Globe Life Field, opening in 2020. Previously at VWSE, Gitomer oversaw the team that sold over $60M in premium seat and suite revenue for the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park and ran the firm’s premium seating consultation for the Atlanta Hawks leading into their renovation of State Farm Arena.
Prior to joining VWSE, Gitomer ran the Premium Sales Team for the Orlando Magic and the award-winning Amway Center, served as the Director of Ticket Sales and Service for Sporting Kansas City leading into their new stadium, Children’s Mercy Park, kicked off suite sales for the Barclays Center as the Suite Sales Manager for the Brooklyn Nets, and sold PSLs and Club Seats for Lincoln Financial Field on behalf of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Evan was born in Philadelphia, PA. He now resides in Dallas, TX with his wife, Randee, and son, Max.
